I am a management consultant by day and an accidental foodie the rest of the time. When I am not busy staring at Excel spreadsheets, I usually find myself doing something food-related: cooking, watching cooking shows (love you, Food Network!), reading food magazines and -obviously- eating. For much of my childhood I was one of those annoying, picky eat-to-stay-alive (or, rather, eat-because-mom-said-so) kind of person, but I think I woke up one day and realized that food is actually really interesting, so in the span of a few years I have gone from being largely indifferent about my food to being borderline obsessed. I LOVE being in the kitchen. I am addicted to that feeling of ultimate satisfaction and accomplishment that comes from making something delicious from scratch…aren’t you?!
